View Quotes
The View Quotes page is used to review existing quotes, open quote versions, compare changes, and update quotes that are still editable. Use the grid actions to view versions, edit quote details, change quote status, create orders, and export quote data.
Navigation
Go to Customers > View Quotes.
Using the Quote Grid
The grid displays all available quotes in the system. Entries can be sorted by clicking column titles, using the search function, or filtering by additional options.

Grid Action Buttons
New Quote
Begins a new quote. For quote creation details, click here.
View Quote
Opens the selected quote so you can review quote details and versions. For more information, click here.
Edit Quote
Opens the Edit Quote window for the selected quote row. For more information, click here.
Toggle Quote Status
Allows you to change the status of a quote. For more information, click here.
Edit Quote Notes
Allows you to quickly modify quote notes when needed.
Edit Order Notes
Allows you to quickly modify order notes when needed.
View Orders
Shows orders from the selected quote. For more information on orders, click here.
Filter Grid
Allows you to search individual columns and filter results using specifics across multiple columns.
Column Visibility
Changes the visible columns for the current grid. These selections are saved per user, browser, and grid.
Excel
Exports the currently displayed grid data to Excel.
How to View a Quote
- Select a quote
Select a row from the quote grid.
- Open the quote
Click the View Quote action button located above the grid.
- Review quote details
The View Quote window displays all details for the selected quote version.
- Change quote versions
Use the dropdown box at the top left of the window to view or select a different quote version.
- Compare or restore versions
Viewing previous quote versions can help you compare changes or revert back to a previous version. Any version of a quote can be made current.
Only current quotes can be edited.
Actions for Current Quotes
Edit
Allows you to edit the quote details.
Create Order
Allows you to create an order from the quote version you are viewing. Orders can only be created from quotes in the Final stage.
Supplement Facts
Initiates a PDF download of the supplement configuration.
Duplicate Quote
Duplicates the current quote. This is helpful for flavor versions.
Sample Production
Initiates a PDF download of a completed sample product run.
View MMR's
Shows which current MMRs have been created in orders from this quote version. MMRs can also be imported from other quote versions. For more information, click here.
Print Quote
Prints the quote details for delivery to a customer.
Compare Changes
Allows you to view two quote versions side by side. After selecting the quote versions, the next window displays both quotes side by side and highlights the differences.
If a hand-entered ingredient is added to the quote, you cannot use the Create Order action.
Actions for Non-current Versions
Make Current Version
Sets the quote version you are viewing as the current version.
Compare Changes
Allows you to view two different quote versions side by side.
Edit Quote
Editing a quote uses the same detail sections and tools that are available during quote creation. If you need help starting a new quote from scratch, use the Create Quote page.
You cannot edit a quote that is in Final Quote status or stage. You also cannot view a quote if you do not have the proper permissions.
Edit Quote Action Buttons
Re-Calculate
Forces a recalculation of the costs displayed in the details section while editing ingredients in a quote.
Save Quote
Saves the quote and creates a new version.
Supplement Facts
Initiates a PDF download of the supplement configuration.
Cost Break Down
Allows you to review cost per serving, bottle, batch, and related totals.
Percentage Break Down
Allows you to review the percentage of each ingredient used in a formula.
Update Price Cache
Updates ingredient costs to the most current price. This can be helpful for older quotes or ingredients with volatile costs.
Manage Pricing Tier
Allows you to enter custom pricing tiers for your quotes.

Quote Details Section
The Quote Details section contains basic information about the quote. These inputs can change depending on the job type being quoted.
The Update Containers button allows you to change the container amounts without creating a new version of the quote. To use this function, input a new value in the container count box and then click the button.
Quote Stage and Status
- Initial — The first status that a quote begins with.
- R&D — This status is only available to users with R&D permissions.
- Final — This status allows orders to be made from a quote.

Additional Information Section
The Additional Information section contains tabs for reviewing quote costs, notes, testing, and files.

Details
Displays your quote costs and size.
Quote Notes
Allows you to view quote notes or add additional notes.
Order Notes
Allows you to view order notes or add additional notes.
Testing
Allows you to add additional testing costs associated with the quote. These costs transfer to any order made from this quote version.
Files
Allows you to access or add additional files to the quote.
Components Section
Use the Components section to add or adjust components in the quote by selecting a component type, component ID, and percentage from the dropdown boxes at the top of the section, then clicking the Add Component button.
The Components Needed button displays components that may be missing from the quote. These items are predetermined during setup to help identify typical components needed by job type. They are not required for the job, but they can provide a quick visual guide to possible missing components.
You can sort components by clicking and dragging the row using the triple bars on the far left of the row.

Vendor and Manufacturer Restrictions
Click the More text link in an expanded component row to display component details such as pricing, allergens, certifications, special care, restrictions, and notes. After the component is expanded, click the Manage Restrictions button to set vendor and manufacturer restrictions.
Restrictions allow you to specify vendors for batches that can be used on an order from the quote. Multiple restriction combinations can be created for each component. This is often used when a customer requires specific ingredient sourcing or when the quote must stay within predetermined certifications such as Vegan, Kosher, or Organic.
How to Add Restrictions
- Expand the component
Click the More link in the component row to display the expanded component details.
- Open restrictions
Click the Manage Restrictions button within the component.
- Select vendor and manufacturer
Select a specific vendor from the left dropdown or set it to All. Do the same for the Manufacturer dropdown on the right.
- Add the restriction
Click the green Add button to finalize the entry.
- Review or delete entries
Created restrictions appear at the bottom of the restrictions pop-up window and can be deleted. They also display in the expanded More section for the component.
- Close the window
After adding or modifying restrictions, click the Close button in the bottom right to exit the window.
Ingredients Section
Use the Ingredients section to add or adjust ingredients in the quote by selecting an ingredient from the dropdown, entering an Elemental Amount, and clicking the Add Ingredient button at the top of the section.
You can sort ingredients by clicking and dragging the row using the triple bars on the far left of the row.
