Email Templates

The Email Templates page displays all system email templates. Use it to edit template subjects, compose email body content, add available shortcodes, and save template updates.

Navigation

Go to Administration > Configuration > Email Templates.

Using the Email Templates Grid

The Email Templates grid displays all emails in the system. Entries can be sorted by clicking column titles, using the search function, or filtering by additional options.

Grid Action Buttons

Edit Template

Opens the selected email template in another window for editing.

Column Visibility

Changes the visible columns for the current grid. These selections are saved per user, browser, and grid.

Excel

Exports the currently displayed grid data to Excel.

How to Edit an Email Template

  1. Select a template

    Click an item from the Email Templates grid.

  2. Open the edit window

    Click the Edit Template action button above the grid to open the Edit Template window for the selected item.

  3. Set the subject

    Enter the email subject in the first input under the Email Details section.

  4. Compose the email body

    Use the editor block to add and format the email text.

  5. Add shortcodes

    Use the Available Shortcodes section to copy system information into the email template. You can manually type the shortcode or click the Copy link, then paste it into the email body.

  6. Save the template

    Click the blue Save Template button at the bottom right of the window to complete the process.

Email Template Sections

Email Details

Contains the email subject input and editor block used to compose and format the email body.

Available Shortcodes

Provides system shortcodes that can be copied and pasted into the email template body.

Custom Styling

Allows you to modify the email template display using custom CSS.

Using Shortcodes

Shortcodes can be manually typed or copied using the Copy link, then pasted into the email details body.
