Batch Retest
Use Batch Retest to reopen a batch for testing, review the batch details, and add or review tests in the same workflow window.

How Batch Retest Works
Batch Retest is a single workflow. You begin by loading the batch, then the same window shows the batch details and testing area for the retest.

Enter the Batch ID
Type the batch ID you want to retest.

Click Load Batch
If the batch is eligible for retesting, the window loads the batch details and test area.

Review or update batch details
Use the details section to review and update available fields such as vendor, source batch, source invoice, manufacturer, PO number, expected release date, and expiration date.

Save detail changes if needed
If you update the batch details, click Save Details.

Add or review tests
In the Tests area, choose a test to add, or review tests that are already attached to the batch.

Complete the test form
Fill out the available test fields. Some fields may be required.

Enter your password and submit
Enter your current Virtual Ops password when prompted, then click Add Test or Update Test.
What You Can Do In This Workflow
Update Batch Details
Review and save batch information that supports the retest process.
Add Or Review Tests
Select a test, complete the required fields, and submit it with your password.
Use Supporting Tabs
Depending on the batch and your permissions, you may also see areas for Chemicals, Batch Files, and Component Details.
If The Batch Does Not Load
Virtual Ops will stop the process if the batch is not eligible for retesting. Common messages include:
Invalid Batch
The batch ID was not found.
Lab Testing Not Required
The selected batch type does not require lab testing.
Batch Deleted
The batch has been deleted and cannot be retested.
Batch Closed
The batch is closed and cannot be opened through Batch Retest.

This help article follows the Batch Retest workflow as the user experiences it in one window. The testing area is also used in other parts of Virtual Ops, but the steps here are written specifically for the Batch Retest function.
