Allergens
The Allergens configuration page allows you to create and edit allergens for your system. You can also print a list of allergens and their associated graphical identifiers.
Navigation
Go to Administration > Configuration > Allergens.
Allergen Options
Print Allergens
Click the blue Print Allergens button at the top right to view and print all allergens and their associated graphical identifiers.
Edit Allergen
Use the Select an Allergen dropdown to choose an existing allergen from the list and edit its details.
Add New Allergen
Select Add New from the dropdown list to create a new allergen in the system.
How to Create or Edit an Allergen
- Open the allergen dropdown
Click the dropdown labeled Select an Allergen.
- Select an allergen option
Choose an existing allergen to edit it, or select Add New at the bottom of the list to create a new allergen.
- Enter allergen details
Fill out the allergen name and set the status to Active.
- Set racking rules
If the allergen requires location placement based on other ingredient placement in the warehouse, set Racking Rules Apply to Yes.
- Upload the identifier
Drag a unique 200px by 200px JPG graphical identifier into the image area on the right side of the Allergen window.
- Save the allergen
Click the blue Save Allergen button at the bottom to update your system.
Each allergen should use a unique graphical identifier uploaded as a 200px by 200px JPG file.
Most allergen-related ingredients require location placement specific to other ingredient placement within your warehouse. When this applies, set Racking Rules Apply to Yes.
