Price Forecast
The Price Forecast report compares the latest purchase order cost for a component with its previous purchase order cost and current system cost. Use it to review cost changes before quoting, purchasing, or planning production.
Navigation
Go to Reports > Price Forecast.
How to Use the Report
- Select a component type
Choose the type of component you want to review.
- Choose a date range
Enter the start and end dates for purchase orders you want included in the report.
- Run the report
Click Get Report to load matching component pricing rows.
- Review price movement
Compare Ordered Cost, Previous Cost, Current Cost, and Price Delta to understand how the component cost has changed.
- Open the purchase order
Select a row and click View PO to open the latest purchase order used by the report.
Grid Columns
The grid includes component ID, component type, component name, latest PO number and date, ordered quantity and cost, previous PO number and cost, current cost, and price delta.
Grid Action Buttons
View PO
Opens the latest purchase order for the selected component row.
Column Visibility
Changes which report columns are visible in the grid.
Excel
Exports the current report results to Excel.
