Administration > QuickBooks > Components

Components

The Components page is where you match each active component type in Virtual Ops to a QuickBooks account. This helps the integration know which QuickBooks account should be used for each component type.

Navigation

Go to Administration > QuickBooks > Components.

What appears on the page

The page shows a table with one row per active component type. Each row includes the component name and a QuickBooks account dropdown. The dropdown is searchable, which makes it easier to find the correct account.

How to assign accounts

  1. Open the Components page

Go to the QuickBooks Components page from the Administration menu.

  2. Review each component row

Find the component type you want to map.

  3. Select the QuickBooks account

Use the dropdown on that row to choose the correct QuickBooks account.

  4. Save the page

Click Save in the sticky menu bar to store your changes.

Helpful starting point

If a QuickBooks account name matches the component name, the page may already preselect that account for you.
