Finished Goods Quarantine
The Finished Goods Quarantine page displays Batch Production Records that are printed and ready for production. Use it to review tests, assign quarantine users, receive samples, view orders, and track finished goods quarantine status.

Using the Finished Goods Quarantine Grid
The Finished Goods Quarantine grid displays all Batch Production Records that are printed and ready for production. Entries can be sorted by clicking column titles, using the search function, or filtering by additional options.

Grid Action Buttons
View Tests
Shows all applied tests for the selected grid row.
Assign Tech
Allows you to find and select a user to assign the quarantine to.
Receive Samples
Marks the selected quarantine as samples received. If sample types are configured, the sample details display as a list instead of a single yes/no value.
View Order
Opens the selected order so it can be viewed or edited.
Column Visibility
Changes the visible columns for the current grid. These selections are saved per user, browser, and grid.
Excel
Exports the currently displayed grid data to Excel.
This feature may not be available in your system if your facility does not need or perform in-house testing. If the feature is not enabled, a missing feature message will display when you try to access it from the menu.

When Entries Are Created
When documentation for a BPR is printed for dispensing, mixing, or packaging, an entry is created in the Finished Goods Quarantine grid.
Only one entry is created for the order and lot number. If there are multiple BPRs within the order, the grid still shows one entry because the quarantine entry is created per order and lot number.
Reworks and Child Lots
If a BPR production run is interrupted by a machine failure or another unexpected event, the BPR may need a rework. For more information on reworks, click here.
During the rework process, a new lot number is required. In most cases, it is acceptable to use a custom lot number with the base lot number as the prefix followed by a numeric or alphabetic sequence.
After documentation for the new BPR is printed, a child of the lot or ID appears in the Finished Goods Quarantine grid. This is shown by the numeric suffix in the ID column and is located directly under the parent entry in the grid.
Finished Goods Tests
Finished Goods tests are defined during the quote process. Any tests in the parent or original BPR are automatically added to child entries or reworks.
Tests can also be added to parent or child finished goods quarantine entries at any time. Newly added tests can be applied to both parent and child finished goods quarantine entries based on user needs.
The most recent test result for each test displays as the status for the finished goods quarantine test entry.
Updating Quarantine Status
Once the finished goods quarantine process is complete, or all tests have passed, you can modify the status using the available statuses in the system.
When receiving samples changes the connected order status, the system keeps the current status first when it matches the first status in the configured list, then moves to the next applicable status.
Fulfillment Inventory Status
In Fulfillment > Inventory > View Inventory, expand a product by clicking the green plus icon to view inventory for that product.
This area includes a VO Quarantine column. The column displays the same status shown in Virtual Ops for the lot number. This helps clients who log in to the fulfillment site check finished goods inventory status.
Fulfillment Order Status
In Fulfillment > Orders > View Orders, expand the product information by clicking the colored product title bar to view the VO Quarantine status column.
When viewing orders to ship, you may see a cautionary message about the product finished goods quarantine status. The system does not prevent you from shipping the order. The warning is informational only.
Finished goods quarantine warnings in fulfillment are informational only and do not prevent an order from being shipped.
