Quarantine Inventory

The Quarantine Inventory grid helps you find components or ingredients that can be selected for quarantine. Use it to sort, search, filter, and create quarantined inventory entries for testing and tracking.

Overview

The Quarantine Inventory grid provides a list of entries for the selected component. Entries can be sorted by clicking column titles, using search, or applying additional filters.

Once you find the ingredient you want to quarantine, select one or more rows and use the Quarantine Item action button to open the Quarantine New Batch screen.

How to Open Quarantine Inventory

  1. Open Inventory

    Go to Inventory in the Virtual Ops system.

  2. Select Quarantine Inventory

    Open Inventory > Quarantine Inventory.

  3. Choose a component

    Select an available component from the dropdown.

How to Quarantine Inventory

  1. Find the item

    Use sorting, search, or filters to locate the ingredient or component you need to quarantine.

  2. Select one or more rows

    Select the item row, or multiple rows, that should be included in the quarantine process.

  3. Open Quarantine New Batch

    Click the Quarantine Item action button at the top of the window.

  4. Complete required fields

    Enter the required quarantine details. Required fields are marked with the * symbol.

  5. Add containers

    Attach any needed files first, then enter the amount received, container count, and amount per container. Click Add Containers to add them to the container list.

  6. Review containers

    Remove or edit containers from the generated Containers list as needed. To add more containers, clear the input values and enter the next set of container information.

  7. Receive inventory

    Click the green Receive Inventory button to complete the new quarantined inventory entry.

Why Quarantine Inventory Matters

In nutraceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, ingredients and containers may need to be quarantined for testing before they are introduced into new products. This helps limit contamination and supports consistent quality for production components.

Grid Action Buttons

Quarantine Item

Opens the Quarantine New Batch screen for the selected component or ingredient rows.

Column Visibility

Changes which columns are visible on the current grid. These selections are saved per user, browser, and grid.

Excel

Exports the currently displayed grid data to Excel.

Batch Stickers

After quarantined inventory is received, the system generates batch stickers that can be placed on each container for labeling and tracking.

Batch stickers are customized per client and are available in 8” x 11” and 4” x 6” formats.
