Inventory Variance
The Inventory Variance report helps you find batch exceptions where the gain or loss is larger than an allowed percentage. Use it to spot unusual inventory changes and open the related batch trace quickly.
Navigation
Go to Reports > Inventory Variance.
Report filters
Select the component type first, then choose a component if needed. You can also filter by start date, end date, batch status, and a variance percentage.
How the variance filter works
Enter a whole number percentage. The report returns only exceptions at or above that percentage of the original received amount for the batch.
What the report shows
The results include the batch, component type, component name, received amount, exception amount, amount after change, status, exception date, created date, user who made the exception, and the last used BPR.
Action Buttons
View Batch
Opens the selected batch directly to its trace view.
Column Visibility
Changes which report columns are visible.
Excel
Exports the current report results.
